About This Place

Welcome to Dochilak Batignolles, a delightful Korean restaurant nestled on the charming Rue de Lévis in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. With a focus on authenticity and quality, Dochilak Batignolles has quickly become a beloved spot for both locals and visitors seeking a genuine taste of Korea. Known for its incredible bibimbap, this eatery has garnered rave reviews from diners who appreciate the balance of flavors and the freshness of ingredients.

The heart of Dochilak Batignolles lies in its bibimbap, a signature dish that has left many patrons, including those with prior experience in Korea, thoroughly impressed. Customers rave about its generous portions and the vibrant mix of vegetables, perfectly cooked rice, and succulent meats. Ewa, one satisfied diner, passionately remarked on the quality, indicating that even her time in Korea couldn't overshadow the delightful experience she had here.

However, the menu offers more than just the famed bibimbap. Rafael Falcon savored the menu du jour, pairing pork bimbimbap with a green tea tiramisu. While the bibimbap received high praise, he noted room for improvement in the dessert. This honest feedback shows that, while many offerings shine, there's an ongoing commitment to perfecting every dish.

The atmosphere at Dochilak Batignolles is equally welcoming, inviting diners to sit back and enjoy casual conversations over a meal. Roniece Dawson-Bruce shared her appreciation for the warm service and pleasant ambiance, which is complemented by carefully curated music that enhances the dining experience.

While most reviews highlight the standout bibimbap, others have noted that certain dishes may come with inconsistencies based on how they're prepared. For instance, Nurzetty Khairi mentioned delivery experiences where items like cuttlefish didn't quite meet the fresh preparation standards. It's a reminder of the challenge inherent in maintaining consistency across various dining experiences.

Despite minor critiques, Dochilak Batignolles stands out as a go-to destination for anyone craving authentic Korean fare in Paris. The dedicated staff, fresh ingredients, and heartfelt commitment to quality ensure that each visit is satisfying. If you find yourself in the area, make sure to taste their bibimbap—it's a dish that promises to linger in your memory long after that final bite.

Had one of the best bibimpaps there, despite living in Korea in the past. Amazing food, quantity and quality. I’d suggest installing new lights, more subtle ones, to make the atmosphere inside better and make this place more welcoming - my heart breaks when I see it empty sometimes, knowing how devoted people working there are. Strongly recommend.

I had a menu du jour with pork bimbimbap and green tea tiramisu. The bimbimbap was tasty, with a nice balance of veggies, meat and rice. That said, I am a big eater, and I felt the portion was a bit small (perhaps I should've had a starter instead of a dessert). The green tea tiramisu on the other hand was a bit disappointing, the green tea flavor of the biscuits was completely obfuscated by the cheesecake-like cream they topped it with. Also, it was very sweet. I wouldn't call it bad, just disappointing. The restaurant has a chill atmosphere with a nice touch, you feel welcome to seat and talk with whoever you come with. The service is standard, nothing to write home about

We ordered delivery from this resto. The bibimbap was good just that they didnt give enough kimchi. The cuttlefish was just ok. Ive noticed at the actual resto, not all are prepared fresh. unless you ordered dolsot bibimbap. The rest will be microwaved prior to serving.

What a delightful and delicious find on rue de Lévis in the 17eme! I was greeted warmly by their staff. As I was the only one (due to early dinner) in the restaurant I was invited to sit anywhere. The ambiance is inviting with great music. I asked for an explanation of the menu and it was given, very politely. The food was amazing, fresh, delicious and well presented! The Bibimbap was excellent! I will definitely return!

The main highlight is the Bibimbap. The food was delicious and spicy. I took the premium menu Bibimbap which includes miso soup, mini starter plate, Bibimbap and dessert. The miso soup was average. But the Bibimbaps were delicious and filling. The desserts are mouth watering and dangerously delicious.

The best Korean restaurant experience in Paris. During our visit to Dochilak, a wonderful multilingual staff member--spoke Korean/French/German/English--recommended dishes to us and to my surprise every single dish we had was on the mark! After 20+ yrs of eating subpar to mediocre Korean food in Paris, I was blown away by the quality of food and service we received at Dochilak. The server also recommended SOON in Champs-Elysees and Marais, two other restaurants under the same mgmt. I'll most certainly visit SOON and recommend to my friends and family. 친절한 스탭 언니, 진심으로 감사합니다!

I went for lunch with my friend who came here often. Really good surprise for food, beautifully presented, delicious, comfortable for my stomach, modern interior, excellent service. Dessert was excellent I had tiramisu, as good as good patisserie or better.

It was definitely one of the best Korean food I ever had! I suggest the chocolate fondant with green tea as dessert, it's beyond delicious.
